Tom Tasker has proudly represented personal-injury clients in Colorado for 40 years. Tom also takes great pride in representing clients in insurance bad-faith cases, where the client has been treated unfairly by their own insurance company. Over the years, Tom has fought hard to obtain numerous high-dollar recoveries on behalf of his clients. Tom was recently selected by his peers as a SuperLawyer in the field of insurance law.
Tom is known for his creativity, enthusiasm, and energy in fighting for his clients, and for his thorough knowledge of the law. He is motivated by a genuine care for his clients and by the satisfaction that comes from helping his clients be made whole again for their harms and losses. Tom strives to make our community safer by holding negligent and reckless drivers responsible for their actions. Tom also works hard to keep big insurance companies from mistreating their insureds.
In 1973, Tom left Chicago to come to Colorado and never looked back. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a Psychology degree in 1978 and went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Denver in 1981. Tom has been a proud member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association since 1986.
Tom has two wonderful children, Kelly and Ryan, and is devoted to his three amazing grandchildren, Celia, Emmett, and Crystal. Away from work, Tom loves playing pickleball and golf, and spends a great deal of time hiking, birdwatching, and otherwise enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors.
